Florence Marie Palmowski, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, U.S. Naval Reservist (WAVES), steel worker, chef a few of the things that describe the women everyone knew as Flo. Flo's no nonsense tough as nails fortitude overshadowed the gentle loving side that we were lucky to know. Flo's passion for people, animals, and life were second to none. Flo lost her battle with cancer, but her spirit lives on in those of us that knew and loved her. Flo was preceded in death by parents, Joe and Stella Palmowski. Flo is survived by, brother, Casmer (Mary) Palmowski, sister, Shirley (Dennis) Cooley, brother, Michael (Mary Jo) Palmowski Sr., brother, John Palmowski, nephews, Michael Palmowski Jr., Dennis Cooley, niece Stephanie Palmowski."
A memorial gathering will be on Thursday May 2, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Paragon Family Restaurant, 1701 East 37th Ave., Hobart. Arrangements completed by Rees Hobart Chapel.
