Frances Ellen "Fran" Haviza, age 58, of Valparaiso, IN passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022.  Fran was born in Valparaiso, IN on October 31, 1963 to the late Roy Edward and Patricia Rae (nee Camp) Haviza.

Fran worked as an accountant for many years and also sold produce.  She was a devout Roman Catholic and attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.  Fran was involved in their youth ministry program and enjoyed working with kids.

Fran is survived by her siblings, Sharon Webb, Joseph (Pamela) Haviza, Margaret Haviza, Therese "Terry" Haviza, and Bridget (Daniel Lopez) Haviza-Lopez; nephews, Jack Webb, Eddie Haviza, Pablo Lopez; Goddaughter and niece: Gina Lopez; niece: Erin Lopez; and two great nieces, Jadelynn, Kristin.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Patricia and siblings: David A. Haviza and Katie M. Haviza.

Family and friends may gather at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel (5341 Central Ave, Portage) on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 3:00-7:00 P.M.  A prayer service with Rosary will take place at 5:30 P.M. with Deacon Dennis Guernsey officiating. At rest at a later date at Calvary Cemetery.
