Frances L. Taylor, age 85 of Portage, IN passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012. She was born on January 25, 1927 in Concord, TN. Frances is survived by 2 sons, Thomas (Judith) Taylor of Portage, Jerry (Patricia) Taylor of Valparaiso, 3 daughters Susan (Bruce) Aubrey of Valparaiso, Cynthia Berg of Wheeler and Kathryn Waldron of Florida: 14 grandchildren: Cari, Thomas, Michael, Jason, Shannon, Jeremy, Alyson, Rachael, Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Britney, Isaac, Samuel, and Joshua. She is also survived by 14 great-grand children.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband Thomas. Frances was a waitress many years ago at Wilsons, Jacksons, and the Golden Coin. She was also a school bus driver and matron for the Portage School System. In earlier years, she was involved with the Portage Little League Women's auxiliary and the American Legion Post 260 Women's auxiliary.

As per her wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial visitation will be held at the Rees Funeral Home Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, IN on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m..
