Francis "Frank" James Peltier, age 81, of Hobart IN, passed away peacefully at home on October 21, 2023. Frank was born on November 7, 1941, in Hancock MI to the late Lawerence and Elmira Peltier.  He worked as a delivery driver for many years with AT&T, and then worked and retired from Sue's Bakery in Portage. He attended Renovation Church with his partner Bill Coker. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a former president of the Portage Lions and a past member of the American Legion Post 54 of Hobart. He will be remembered as a loving partner, brother, uncle, and friend.

Frank enjoyed gardening and cooking and spending time with Bill.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Frank is survived by his partner of 53 years, Bill Coker; brother, Robert sister, Irene and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, Ann, Jeanie, Kathy, Patty, and Doris; four brothers, Lawrence Jr., George, Hubert, and Janis Ray.

A celebration of Franks life will be held at a later date at Renovation Church in South Haven, Indiana. Cremation is entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana.
