Freddy Acosta, Jr., age 50 passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at home. He was born on May 27, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York. Freddy was currently employed as an assembly worker at Daifuku. He had a good heart and will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and ability to make people laugh. He was loved by so many people.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Deliah Claudio; daughter, Veronica Acosta; son, Carlos Mendez; mother, Jenny Osorio; and brother, David (Jen Weissmann) Acosta.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Alexa Irizarry.

A funeral service for Freddy will take place Friday, January 21, 2022 at 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
