Frederick Allen Orth

Frederick Allen Orth, age 54 of Lake Station passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. He was born on July 3, 1971 to the late Fred and Mary Berry. Frederick retired from Kaptur Events where he had served as an Executive Chef. He was a member of the Portage Exchange Club and the Culinary Associates. Frederick enjoyed hunting, fishing, and coaching, watching and playing baseball. He was a huge Chicago Cubs fan.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Rodriguez-Orth of Lake Station, IN; one daughter, Samantha Orth of Bowling Green, KY; two sons, Anthony and Jacob Orth both of Lake Station, IN; three grandchildren, Jaxson, River, and Gabriel, father-in-law, Salvador Rodriguez, four close friends, Carol Jones, Abby Holstein, Tami Przbylski, and Jimmy Wimmer.

Cremation will take place with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Portage. (219) 762-3013.
