Freesia Willow Muir, age 7, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015. She was born on June 30, 2008 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Robert and Amy Muir. Freesia was currently a 1st grade student at Ridgeview Elementary School in Hobart.

She is survived by her parents: Robert and Amy Muir; brothers: River Muir, Forest Muir; sisters: Megan Cook, Autumn Muir; nephew: Arthur Sills; maternal grandmother: Julie (Bruce) Sowell; paternal grandparents: Marilyn Hoyo, Robert Muir; many adoring aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, schoolmates and neighbors.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather: Arthur Melvin.

A funeral service for Freesia will take place Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Bill Taylor officiating. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
