Gail F. Ramsay

Gail F. Ramsay, age 89, of Portage passed away peacefully Saturday December 3, 2022, at Miller's Merry Manor of Portage. Gail was born November 3, 1933, in Buffalo, New York to the late Rogers and Viola (Gipple) Drew. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and doing cross stitch.

Gail is survived by three children, Lee Ann (Marty) Summers of Portage, Scott Ramsay of Hobart, and Mike Ramsay of Minnesota; three grandchildren, Craig Summers, Cale Summers, and Shannon (Lucas) Sullivan; three great-grandchildren, Chase, Wren, and Ames.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Ramsay; her parents, Rogers and Viola; a brother, Bob Drew; and a sister, Mary Joyce Novak.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday December 9, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. A memorial service will follow immediately at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home.
