Gail M. Travis, 72, of Portage, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Born on October 13, 1953, to the late Robert and Wanda (Schoonover) Travis, Gail spent many years working as a laborer at U.S. Steel. She was a devoted daughter who lovingly cared for her parents in their final years. A true nature lover, she found joy in watching the birds outside her window. Gail also had a lifelong interest in tarot cards and psychic readings, and she especially enjoyed sharing that passion each year at an annual Halloween party.

Gail is survived by her sister, Karen Kirk, Judy E. (William) Izabal and Cheryl Hayward; brother, Michael (Debbie) Travis; 3 nieces, 5 nephews and numerous great nieces, great nephews and family and dear friends.

Cremation entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
