Gale Lynn Ewell, age 62, of Lake Station, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. She was born on September 10, 1952 to Bill Richardson and Marilyn Welch. She was a loving mother, wife and a devoted grandmother. Gale had so much love for her family. She worked at Fresenius Medical Group for 30 years. Gale loved to crochet and loved her dog, Jax.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Kenneth Ewell; siblings: Bonnie, Gary, and John; daughters: Mari (John) and Kim (Todd); grandsons: TJ and Jaren. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Bill Richardson, Marilyn Welch, and her mother, Doris Richardson. Gale leaves behind many cousins, family members, and dear friends who will miss her.

A funeral service for Gale will take place Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN, 46342 with Rev. Scott Marshall officiating.
