Gary Green, a resident of Lake Station, IN, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.He was born on February 16,1944 in Colbert Co. Alabama to the late Charles Herschel and Allie Pauline (nee Riner) Green. He was a retired millwright at Midwest Steel Mill. Gary will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Gary is survived by his two sons, Mark (Dinah) Green and Tony (April Green; two daughters, Diane (Brian) Stevens and, Hope Mefford; two brothers, Tommy (Martha) Green and Bobbie (Pat) Green; three sisters, Louise Creasy, Lucille Humphrey and Barbara Stone; grandchildren, Marie (Evan), Matt (Dallas) Katie (Ricky), Nickkie and Jordan, William (Sherry) and Brian (Jeanine), Bradley, and Levi; 17 great grandchildren, and his significant other, Mary Nelson and many other loving family and friends

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lecie Mae (nee Vandiver) Green; son, Johnny Green; two brothers George W. and Charles W.; grandson, Alex, and great granddaughter Kadence.

Per Gary's wishes, there will be no funeral services.  Arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
