Gene F. Faith, age 84, a resident of Burton, Michigan, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012. He was born on December 2, 1927, in Heilwood, Pennsylvania, the son of Chalmers and Nora Faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Gene married Mary Ellen Miller on August 5, 1950 in Flint, Michigan. Gene worked as an engineer for over 30 years with the General Motors Buick Division retiring in 1982. His great joy was building houses, canoeing, and being with family.

Gene is survived by his loving wife Mary Ellen Faith, Burton, Michigan, sons Galen (Donna) Faith, Deckerville, Michigan, and Gary (Gina) Faith, Ogden Dunes, Indiana, daughter Laura (Gary) Reeve, Crown Point, Indiana, grandchildren Alexandra, Leigha, Leslie, Jennifer (Adam), Stephanie, and Sarah, great-grandson Dawson, brothers Frank "Pat" (Eileen) Faith, Swartz Creek, Michigan, Ray (Theresa) Faith, Bedford, Massachusetts, sister Linda (Bruce) Handley, Burton, Michigan, and other loving family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Jac and C.C. Faith.
