Genesis C. Guzman, age 37 of Portage, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024. She was born on December 13, 1986, in Chicago, Illinois. Genesis was a loving person with a heart of gold. She will always be remembered for her charismatic personality that was larger than life. She liked butterflies and cherished her children.

She is survived by her children, Leilani Berrios, Alexander Franklin, Jayden Gatlin; her father, Angel Trinidad; brother, Gabriel (Jessica) Sanchez; sisters Jennifer Maldonado, Veronica (Jesus) Sanchez, Angel Trinidad, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Guzman.
