Geneva A. Stanley "Granny"

Geneva A. Stanley "Granny", age 79, passed away Friday January 29, 2016 at St Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Granny was born October 6, 1936 in Portsmouth, OH. Granny was a member of the New Life Church of God in Portage. She loved her Church, her family and reading her Bible.

Geneva is survived her four children Diana Chalabis of Portage, Patricia (Bill) Berrier of Portage, James Hobbs of Lake Station and Robert (Lori) Hobbs of Portage; two stepchildren John Stanley of Lake Station and Henry "Junior" (Heather) Stanley of Georgia; one brother Russell Loper of Portsmouth, OH; fifteen grandchildren; Thirteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Geneva was preceded in death by her loving husband Henry Stanley; her mother Lillian Loper; and ten brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Thursday February 4, 2016 at the New Life Church of God, 2780 Russell Street, Portage, IN 46368 with Rev. Forest Ash officiating. Burial will follow in Heritage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 Noon at the New Life Church of God on Thursday.
