Georgette Loving, age 78 of Lake Station, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, at home. She was born on June 17, 1946, in Roby, Indiana to the late George and Florence Reid. She retired from Porter Hospital where she worked in maintenance. In her free time, she enjoyed being in nature; watching birds and gardening.

She is survived by her daughters, Monica Colon, Michelle Hooper; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hooper, Thomas James, Valerie Colon, and Louis Colon; great grandchild, Gianni Torres; nieces, Doris (Stacy) Bishop, Colleen Jackson; nephew, Jemal Watts; great nephew, Kenny Mezydlo; great nieces, Kaylynn (Andrew) Garcia, Amber Bishop, Chrysta Bishop; and many loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence Reid; first husband, Dean Hooper; second husband, Bill Loving; and sister, Patricia Watts.
