Gerald Christian, age 78, a resident of Hobart, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012. He was born on May 26, 1933 in Racine, Wisconsin the son of Stephan John and Anna Christian. Gerald was a retired Electrical Foreman at US Steel and was a United States Airforce Veteran. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and a dear friend to all.
Gerald is survived by his loving family, wife, Angie Christian of Hobart, 2 sons; Steve (Sandra) Christian of Valparaiso, David (Diana) Christian of Hobart, 2 daughters; Dona Christian of Las Vegas and Tammie Christian of New York, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and other loving family and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother William Christian.
A burial of Gerald cremains will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Calvary Cemetery.
