Gerald "Jerry" Phillip Clough

Gerald "Jerry" Phillip Clough, age 72 of Portage passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025.  He was born on June 9, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Phillip and Dorothy Clough (nee Streg).

He is survived by his wife, Marcy Clough (nee Schwab), four children, Adam (Eric Fisher) Clough, Jordan (Laura) Clough, Marlisa (Britton) Clough-Bartz, Dennis Helwig Jr., one sister, Sandy (late Claudie Jr.) Bevins nieces and nephews, Kim (Michael), Clyde (Hope), Claude III (Suzanne), Sydnie (Matt), Finley, Derek, in-laws, Alisa (Robert) Rodriguez, special cousins, Sherry and Gary Schwab, Tricia Collings, and Gail Clough, puppies, Ice, Buddy, Ziva, and Horse Yanni, and many other family members.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann Clough.

Funeral services are Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 5341 Central Ave., Portage.  Visitation is Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, Portage. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL  60004.  The family will be sitting Shiva at 960 Wells Court, Hobart on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
