Geraldine "Jeri" Ann Mikenas

Geraldine Ann (Nee Lach) Mikenas, age 83, of Valparaiso passed away Wednesday March 1, 2023, at Northwest Health Porter Hospital.  Geraldine was born October 30, 1939, in Gary, Indiana to the late Barney and Eleanore (Pikula) Lach. She retired as a receptionist for Hoeppner, Wagner & Evans Law Firm. She loved her family very much and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her son Jeff (Lesli) Mikenas of Valparaiso; seven grandchildren, Morgan Mikenas, Brooke Mikenas, Lindsay Trout, Garrett Jipping, Tabitha Koza, Ian Mikenas, and Sara Jacobs; five great grandchildren, Luke, Leah, Blake, Alyssa, and Luke; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Victor; her daughter, Laura Jipping; her son, Darryl Mikenas; her brother, Richard Lach; and her sister, Lenora Sobkowski.

Geraldine will be cremated and her ashes buried with her husband in Calvary Cemetery.
