Geraldine A. Nordyke, age 88, of Valparaiso passed away Friday January 16, 2026, at the St Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Geraldine was born April 24, 1937, in East Chicago, Indiana Sam and Mildred (Klemme) Fox. She enjoyed playing Bunko and dice with her friends. She loved watching Star Trek on TV. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Debi Russum of Valparaiso; her son, Dale S. Nordyke of Valparaiso; four grandchildren, Shawn (Cindy) Russum, Shannon Russum, Michael A. Nordyke, and Matthew D. Nordyke; four great grandchildren, Cody, Landon, Kayden, and Evie; two sisters of the heart, Beverly Mlynek and Bonnie Salazar.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; loving husband, David Michael Nordyke; and beloved son, David "Michael" Nordyke; grandson, Matthew Nordyke.

Geraldine wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes buried with her husband in McCool Cemetery in Portage.
