Gilberta Garcia

GILBERTA GARCIA, age 95, of Tamarac, FL, formerly of Hobart, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2025. She was born on February 4, 1930 to the late Manuel and Gregoria Hernandez. Gilberta was a program director for many years at Catholic Charities. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her sons, Ruben Garcia and David (Andrea) Garcia; brother, Gregory Hernandez; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

Gilberta was also preceded by her husband, Juan Garcia; son, Sam Garcia; sisters, Sally Regalado and Jean Florez; brother, Fino Del Ortega.

Gilberta will be laid to rest at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
