Glena Ensign

Glena Ensign (nee Prosser), age 89 of Hobart passed away Monday, February 27, 2017. She was born on December 14, 1927 in Sailor Springs, Illinois to the late Joe and Bertha Prosser. Glena dedicated her life to her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her sons, Jon (Cheryl) Ensign of Hobart and Bob (Jane) Hamilton; three daughters, Kathy Phelps of Valparaiso, Cindy Ensign of Ft. Myer, Florida, and Rene Kunkle of Ft. Myer, Florida;14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great- granddaughter; two sisters, Julie Bannon and Lola Wells and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; John Ensign, and her parents.
Memorial service for Glena will be held Friday, March 3, 2017 at 7:00 pm with Pastor Bob Burton officaiting at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart at a later date. Visitation for Glena will be held Friday, March 3, 2017 from 5:00 until time of service at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
