Glenda K. Mcbrayer

Glenda K. McBrayer, age 58, of Hobart passed away Thursday January 16, 2020 at the VNA Center of Northwest Indiana.  She was born February 1, 1961 in Gary, Indiana to the late William C. and Pauline (Ladd) Rushing. Glenda was a scheduling coordinator at St Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Glenda loved gardening and caring for her yard. She also enjoyed going to craft fairs.

Glenda is survived by her loving son, Laithen (Paige) McBrayer of Portage; her brothers and sister, Ronny W. (Karen) Rushing of Winamac, Paulette Wagner of Hobart and William L (Kay) Rushing of North Vernon; her niece, Krystle Wagner and nephew, Jeff Richmond.

Glenda was preceded in death by her husband Howard Paul McBrayer and her parents.

Visitation will be from 3-7 pm Monday January 20, 2020 at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342.  Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Portage.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts are preferred to the VNA Hospice Center of Northwest Indiana 501 Marquette Street Valparaiso, IN 46383.
