Glenda M. Owens
Glenda Mae Owens, age 70, of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017. She was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on October 3, 1946 to the late Sanford and Cuba (nee Graham) Peterson.
Glenda is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Marvin Owens; daughters, Rev. G. Kathleen (Jan Gallo) Owens, Carolyn Barcelli, Kalene (Mark) Ledlow; and grandchildren, Justin (Crystal Flores) Barcelli, Randi Barcelli, Chris Barcelli, Jarrett (Nicole Sims) Barcelli, Austin Jones, Owen Ledlow.
A funeral service for Glenda will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368 with Rev. G. Kathleen Owens officiating. She will be laid to rest at McCool Cemetery, Portage. Visitation will take place Monday, April 10, 2017 from 2-8 pm at the funeral home. For more information, please call 219-762-3013.
