Glenn Rayburn Campbell Sr., age 62 of New Chicago passed away Tuesday November 2, 2010. He was born on March 5, 1948 in Gary, Indiana to the late Jesse R. and Lula M. Campbell. He was a lifelong New Chicago resident and was the owner and operator of Quick Rod Sewer Rodding in New Chicago. Glenn loved fishing. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and he especially loved his children and grandchildren. Glenn's family would like to thank all of his customers for their support throughout the years.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ruth Campbell (nee Jaroscak) of New Chicago, IN; 2 children, Glenn Campbell Jr. of New Chicago, IN; Robin (Wayne) Stivaletta of WI; 1 brother, Charles (Maria) Campbell of AK; 1 sister, Anna (Henry) Cook of Olive Branch, MS; 2 grandchildren, Stefanie (Patrick) Tryba and Daniel Stivaletta, and 1 great granddaughter, Case Kendall Tryba all of WI; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne Campbell.
Funeral services are Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 9 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West old Ridge Road with Pastor Henry Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
