Glenn C. Raper, age 77 of Hobart passed away Friday, August 17, 2012. He was born on March 9, 1935 in Madisonville, TN to the late Isaac and Ruth Raper. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Glenn retired from Ford Motor Company. He was an avid Nascar and sports fan.

He is survived by his wife, Mural Ann Raper (nee Demay) of Hobart, IN; 1 son, Glenn C. Raper Jr. of Portage, IN; 1 daughter, Teresa Andrews of TX; 1 brother, Mackie Isaac Raper of Madisonville, TN; 4 sisters, Betty Jo (Red) Watson of Marietta, GA; Bonnie (Richard) Smith of Woodstock, GA; Sue (Jim) Russell of Madisonville, TN; Frances Hampton of Madisonville, TN; 1 sister-in-law, Betty (Alan) Cates of Tucson, AZ; Bud (Laverne) Demay of Tucson, AZ; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Ruth Raper, wife, Rita Lou Richardson Raper, 1 daughter, Debra Elaine Raper, stepfather, Ransom Watson, 1 sister-in-law, Nita Demay.
