Gloria Ramirez

Age 90, a Portage resident passed away Wednesday, October 28,2020 at her home. She was born on December 23, 1929 in El Paso, Texas to the late Gilbert and Mary (nee Gutierez) Benavente. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.

She is survived by her two sons, Frank and Robert Gomez; daughter, Gloria (Jose) Gonzalez; granddaughters, Tracy (Edward), Elisea and Francesca (Jordan);grandsons, Frankie (Claudia), Robert (Shelley), Anthony and Eric; nephew, Joe (Julie) Torres and other loving family members and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Helen Benavente, Gilbert Benavente and Aurora Barbosa, husbands, Jesse Gomez and Jose Ramirez; daughter, Mary Gomez and two grandchildren, Miriam and Timie.
