Goldie L. Stewart, age 89 of Portage passed away, Monday, February 11, 2013 in Portage, Indiana. Goldie was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on February 28, 1923 to Frank and Goldie Laird who preceded her in death. She came to Hobart in 1967 where she was an active member of the First Unitarian Church. Goldie also enjoyed quilting. She will be very deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by 3 sons, Jack (Marti) Stewart of DeMotte, IN; Frank (Pat) Stewart of Evansville, IN; Thomas (Elizabeth) Stewart of Christiana, TN; daughter, Cecelia (Errol) Kwiatkowski of Sharpsville, PA; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; other loving family and dear friends.

Goldie was preceded in death by her husband, Harland; 3 brothers; 5 sisters.
