Gordon Lee Brown

Gordon Lee Brown, age 56, of Hobart, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023. He was born on March 20, 1967, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Gordon and Donna Brown. Gordon had a passion for music and really enjoyed it when his dad would play guitar. He could tell you who sang any song, but Johnny Cash was his favorite. He also liked to watch classic TV.  Gordon will always be remembered for his happy-go-lucky attitude. Above all, he loved his family and spending time with them, whether it was visiting with them or talking on the phone.

He is survived by his mother, Donna Brown; sister, Brenda (John) Gourlay; brother, David Brown; niece, Amanda Gourlay; nephew, SSG John G. (Courtney) Gourlay; and one great nephew who held a very special place in Gordon's heart, John Oliver Gourlay.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon M. Brown.

A celebration of Gordon's life will take place Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Hobart Moose Lodge,143 South Hobart Road.
