Gordon M. Brown, age 80, of Hobart, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021.  He was born in Scott County, Tennessee on April 14, 1940 to the late James and Delphia (nee Rich) Brown.  Gordon loved wood crafting in the garage and could do just about anything.  He enjoyed reading Louis L'Amour novels and recently began researching his ancestry.

Gordon is survived by his wife of 57 years, Donna (nee Henry) Brown; sons, Gordon Lee Brown, David Allen Brown; daughter, Brenda K. (John) Gourlay; grandchildren, Amanda Lee Gourlay, SSgt. John Gordon (Courtney) Gourlay; great grandchild, John Oliver Gourlay; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his 8 siblings.

Cremation has been entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.  219-942-2109.
