Gordon A. Mauch

Gordon Albert Mauch, age 65, of Portage, Indiana died peacefully in his sleep on May 1, 2018. He was born in Germany in 1953 and immigrated to the United States with his mother and brother, Peter in 1955. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1974 until 1979. Exceedingly intelligent, he loved to play chess, read, and have spirited debates with his family, for whom he would have done anything.

He is survived by his mother, Renate Caimens; Sister, Michelle (Edward) Stewart-Skaggs; brothers, Richard Mauch and Peter Mauch; nieces, Tiffany (Sean) Kilroy, Ali (Kyle) Duffy; great nephew, Declan Kilroy; great nieces, Harper Kilroy and Hazel Duffy.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law and dear friend, Malcolm Stewart. Gordon will be sorely missed.
