Grace L. Mattia

Grace L. Mattia (Nee Lascala), age 99, formerly of Lake Station passed away in Plano, TX on November 25, 2023.

Grace is survived by her three children, Ronald (Barbara) of McKinney, TX, Annette, and Joseph James "Jim" both of Portage, IN. Grace has six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Schwertz of Ambridge, PA, and Josephine Mezza of Beaver Falls, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; her husband, Joseph; brother Philip LaSalle; son-in-law Joseph; a sister-in-law; and two brothers-in-law.

Visitation for Grace will be held from 2-6 pm with a 3 pm Rosary service, Friday December 8, 2023, at the Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel 3781 Central Avenue Lake Station, IN 46405. A Rite of Christian Burial will begin Saturday with 10:30 am Prayers at the Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel and process to St. Francis-Xavier Catholic Church 2447 Putnam Street for an 11:00 am Mass with Rev Jaime Perea celebrating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Portage, Indiana.
