Gregory Steven Furcsik
age 62, passed away Friday October 14,2011 at home with his loving family by his side. Gregory a Valparaiso resident formally of Glendale, Arizona. He was born December 1,1948 in Bay Village, Ohio the son of Gus (Margaret) Furcsik. . He will be remembered as a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Gregory is survived by his son; Donald S. (Karla) Furcsik of Valparaiso, daughter; Nancy A. Furcsik of Valparaiso, 2 grandchildren; Madison and Joshua, sister; Christine Furcsik of North Royalton, Ohio, niece Marjorie and good friends; Doug (Jan) Whitson, Al (Barb), and Jim Zumph, all of Glendale, Arizona, Jeff (Maureen) Lenzo of Lake Station, Indiana, Jim (Pat) Reinhold, Cam (Sharon) Fickle and Al Patty, all of Hebron, Indiana. Many other loving family members and friends.He is preceded in death by his wife; Susan (nee Hoffmann) Furcsik, parents; Gus (Margaret) Furcsik.A visitation for Gregory will be held on Tuesday, October 18,2011,from 2:00 until 8:00p.m. at Rees Funeral Home – Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station. A funeral service Gregory will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home – Brady Chapel. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.
