Gustav P. Trimolt, age 67 of East Chicago passed away March 29, 2012. He was born on June 10, 1944 in Zirndorf, Germany. Gus was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Inland Steel. He was a dedicated husband and grandfather to his four grandchildren that he took care of for twelve years. Gus played on Inland Steels Men's Volleyball team and he coached youth volleyball at Indiana Harbor Catholic grade school. He loved to cook and read his bible.
He is survived by one daughter, Ursula (James) Razo, four grandchildren: Marissa, Olivia, Michael, and Alexander all of Hobart, 1 brother, Dieter (Beverly) Trimolt, 3 sisters, Birute (Paul) Savickis, Claudia (Fred) Tom, Christa Vita(the late Roger) Baugher .
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene L. Trimolt, his father, Gustav Trimolt, and his mother, Philippine (Vladas) Valionis.
