Obituary

Habert Lee "Red" Riley II., age 70 of Hobart passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012. He was born on December 31, 1941 in Farmers Exchange, Tennessee to the late Herbert Lee and Clara Dell Riley Sr.. He was a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and he retired from U.S. Steel after 33 years of service. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Lee was a member of the Hobart American Legion Post 54 and the Hobart Eagles AERIE # 2498.

He is survived by 2 sons, Anthony Riley of Portage, IN; Habert Lee Riley III of Portage, IN; 1 daughter, Kimberly (Tom) Reinhardt of Tilden, IL; 2 brothers, Edward (Renee) Riley of Hobart, IN; Wayne (Mary) Riley of Valparaiso, IN; and 6 grandchildren.

Funeral services are Monday, February 13, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Wayne Riley officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Visitation is Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. American Legion service at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
