Haley Kay Ralph, age 15, of Lake Station, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015. She was born on November 3, 2000 in Merrillville, Indiana to Chad and Melissa Ralph. She was currently a freshman at River Forest High School. Haley was a cheerleader for the River Forest Jr./Sr. High School for the last four years. She played softball with Lake Station Little League for 9 years. She was a member of the Lake Station Girl Scouts for 9 years. Haley loved gym class and served on the Jr. High student council. She will always be remembered as a vibrant and outgoing daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, niece and friend. Haley never met a stranger. She loved music and talking with her friends. Above all, she enjoyed the time she spent shooting guns with her grandpas, John Vaughan and Darrell Ralph.
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted parents: Chad and Melissa Ralph; brother: Logan Ralph; paternal grandparents: Darrell (Linda) Ralph; maternal grandparents: John (Robin) Vaughan; many other loving family and friends.
A funeral service for Haley will take place at 11:00 am Saturday, November 21, 2015 in the Gymnasium at River Forest High School, 3300 Indiana Street, Hobart, Indiana 46342, with Pastor Rick Hillard officiating. She will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Visitation will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342.
