Harold Clifford "Cliff" Walters, age 95, of DeMotte, Indiana formerly of Hobart, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on September 20, 1916 in Graysville, Indiana the son of Claud and Nola (nee Edds) Walters.

Harold was a retired certified electrician for Republican Steel and LTV and a past member of the Isaac Walton and Moose Lodge #783. On February 7, 1978, Harold married his lovely wife Betty Jones at the Nazarene Church in Portage, IN.

He is survived by his wife Betty Walters of DeMotte, IN; 2 brothers, Paul (Joy) Walters of Indianapolis, IN; Bob Walters of Sullivan, IN; 1 sister, Helen Pittman, and loving children, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Jerry Walters, 1 daughter, Sharon Coates-Bannon, 2 brothers, Claudie, and Adrian Walters, and 1 sister, Opal McDaniels.

Funeral services for Harold will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN. Visitation will be Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with additional visitation on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service also at Rees Funeral Home.
