Harry O. Lindsay

Harry O. Lindsay, age 75, of Hobart passed away Monday October 19, 2026, at the St Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Harry was born May 27, 1951, in Gary, Indiana to the late Harold and Delores (Blacka) Lindsay. Harry was a Steel Worker that began his career at Bethlehem Steel and retired from Cleveland Cliffs. He was a US Army Veteran. Harry loved Caring for his yard in fact he loved yard work so much he assisted many of his neighbors care for their yards.

Harry is survived by his loving wife Virginia; a brother, Russell Lindsay; five sisters, Esther (Bob) Shinneman, Penny Nicks, Bonnie Woods, Neta (Kevin) Reynolds, and Elizabeth Currie; several nieces and nephews.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael Eric Lindsay, and two siblings, Harold Lindsay and Ruthie Carlson.

Visitation for Harry will be held Friday October 23, 2026, from 2-7 pm at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342.
