Harvey Finch, age 66, a lifetime resident of Lake Station passed away Friday November 6, 2015 at Millers Merry Manor in Hobart. Harvey was born March 1, 1949 in Gary, Indiana to the late William and Helen (nee Gornick) Finch. He worked in the physical education department at Purdue Calumet in Hammond, Indiana for several years. Harvey enjoyed writing poetry, golfing, fishing and building model cars and planes.
Harvey is survived by his niece, Stephanie Beebe and three nephews, Jeffery (Sharon) Finch, Jason Finch and Jeremy (Laveta) Finch; nine great nieces and nephews and five great-great grand nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Barbara S.H. Finch and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ross Orin Finch.

A graveside service for Harvey will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. directly at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 8178 Cline Ave, Schererville, Indiana 46375.
