Helen J. Groshon

Helen J. Groshon (Nee Gray), age 87, of Lake Station passed away April 9, 2014. She was born January 31, 1927 in London, Kentucky to the late Forester and Birtha (Nee Gambell) Gray. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Portage and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.Helen is survived by three daughters, Rita (Robert) Meacham, Phyllis (Jerry) Jackson and Tammy Dronen; two sisters, Marie Asher and Ruth (Doug) Stevens, nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, other loving family members and friends.Helen was preceded in death by her daughter Sandra Peeler, her parents; brother, Brian Gray; two sisters, Vergie and Daisy and her life companion Norman Fontaine.Funeral service for Helen will be held Monday, April 14, 2014 at 9:00 am with Rev. Don Good officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN 46342. Burial at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.
