Helen Marie Kustron

HELEN M. KUSTRON, age 85, of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at VNA Hospice. Helen was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Hobart High School. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Helen will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Helen is survived by her son, Frank (Mary) Kustron of Valparaiso; daughter, Barbara (Dennis) Schuler of Lake Station; 6 grandchildren, Ashlee (Tyler) Schuler-Duffin, Eric Schuler, Joseph (Corrine), Matthew, Katelyn & Samuel Kustron; 1 great-grandchild, Greyson Kustron; sister, Josephine Peek of Hobart; other loving family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; daughter, Cheryl Kustron; and her parents.

A funeral service for Helen will be Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. Lourdu Pasala officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2011 from 2 – 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, with a 3:30 p.m. prayer service.
