Henry Evertt Stanley, age 78, of Waynesville, North Carolina and formerly of Lake Station passed away November 28, 2014. He was born on March 26, 1936 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to the late Virgil and Lila Stanley. He retired after 30 years of working for Ford Motor Company as an Assembly Line Operator. Henry enjoyed fishing but above all cherished the time he could spend with his family. When he couldn't see his family, Henry would call and spend countless hours on the phone with them. He will always be remembered as a loving father, granddaddy, brother and uncle to those who loved him.

Henry is survived by his sons, Rick (Gina) Stanley, Johnny Stanley, Junior (Heather) Stanley; daughters, Nancy (Bob) Pigatti, Sue Stanley; brother, Virgil Stanley Jr.; 14 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Lila Stanley; son, Ronnie Stanley; brothers, Lester and Raymond Stanley; sister in law, Dorothy Stanley.

Memorial visitation for Henry will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station, IN from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. For more information, please call (219) 962-1606.
