HILDE JOCIUS, age 90, of Lake Station, IN passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014. She was born on May 24, 1924 in Heilbronn, Germany to the late Herman and Lisette Binder. Hilde served in France and Belgium with the German Air Force as an intelligence typist during WWII. She married Anthony Jocius in 1954 and they moved to Sauk Village, IL in 1960 where she resided until recently moving to Indiana. Hilde will be remembered as a loving mother who lived for the care of her children.

She is survived by her 4 sons, Peter Uwe Riedl of Heilbronn, Germany; Juergen Carius of Brussels, Belgium; Anthony (Alina) Jocius of Kokomo, John Jocius of Denver, CO; daughter Michelle of Lake Station, IN; 10 grandchildren, Shellie, Michael, Amber, Nicholas, Courtney, Brigitte, Tania, Britanny, Lisette and Alexsandra; 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony in 1975; her sister Lisette Mack; her son Michael in 2012.
