Howard "Keith" Hamilton, age 77, of Valparaiso, passed away September 12, 2017 at the University of Illinois Hospital. He was born on October 1, 1939 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Howard and Norma Hamilton. Howard was employed as a coil operator at Inland Steel. On December 3, 1988, he married the love of his life, Coral Hamilton, who survives.

Also surviving are his sons, Brian Hamilton, Vincent Hamilton; daughter, Jessica Hamilton; grandchildren, Chris Hamilton, Connor Hamilton, Michael Hamilton, Matthew Hamilton; brothers, Kenny (Karen) Hamilton, Donnie (Fran) Hamilton, Randy (Lois) Hamilton; and sister, Sharon (Joe) Elliott.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Norma Hamilton; grandson, Riley Hamilton; siblings, Darrell Hamilton, Janet Tarnow, Darlene Mikolics and Bobby Hamilton. Memorial contributions in Howard's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 130 Red Coach Drive, Mishawaka, IN 46545.

A memorial service for Howard will take place Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 6:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage with Pastor Bob Burton officiating.
