Howard "Rick" Williams, age 50 a longtime Lake Station resident passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014. He was born on November 21, 1963 in Gary, Indiana. He worked at National Transmission and was a member of the Eastlake Baptist Church. Rick enjoyed riding his motorcycle, stock car racing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rhonda Williams (nee Gilmer) of Lake Station, IN; two daughters, Nichole Williams of Lake Station, IN; Jennifer Williams of Lake Station, IN; one son, Nicholas Williams of Lake Station, IN; his parents, Howard W. and Mary E. Williams of Hobart, IN; five sisters, Barbara Olson of Hobart, IN; Judy (Doug) Love of Columbia City, IN; Patty (Jim) Rouse of Hobart, IN; Theresa Chiang of Hobart, IN; Samantha Williams of Hobart, IN; one brother, Les Williams, seven grandchildren, Destiny, Demetrie, Bella, Laticia, Lucious, Javier, Olivia, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Richie Williams, and granddaughter, Mercedes.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.

Visitation is Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Dale Stankich officiating.
