Ida Belle Greenwood, age 100, of Clermont, Florida, formerly of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, December 9,2020.   Ida was born September 21, 1920 in Sesser, Illinois to the late John Raymond and Elizabeth (Loucks) Simmons.  She was a former member of Pentecostals of South Lake in Merrillville, Indiana, and a former Eastern Star of Streator, Illinois.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, many loving nieces and nephews, and many friends at Superior Assisted Living.

Ida is survived by her daughter, Ida Mae (David) Quaka of Leesburg, Florida; brother Bill (Helen) Simmons of Clermont Florida; two grandchildren, Marlena (John) Singel of Portage Indiana, and Michael (Suzi) Quaka of Aurora, Colorado; four great grandchildren, Jakob, Keirstyn and Karina Quaka, Megan (Brian) Freitag; and two great-great grandchildren, Dallas and Della.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph F. Greenwood, her parents, and seven siblings: Noble (Lelia), Fern Baty, Darrell (Claire), Madge (Randall) Dilliner, Jesse (Erma), Dorothy Brooks, and Bob(Betty).

A small service will be held in the Graceland Chapel at the Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, Indiana, on Wednesday, Jan 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm.  Rev.
