Ida Rose Hillblom, age 94, of Lake Station, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016. She was born on March 13, 1922, in Tuluca, Illinois, to the late Anthony and Nunzia (nee Chiola) Dicesare. Ida lived in Lake Station for 25 years. She then moved to Illinois where she resided in Olympia Fields and Alsip. Ida was a past member of St Francis Catholic Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Ida is survived by daughter, Sandra J. Madison; granddaughters, Barbara Blair, Kimberly (Joe) Veverka; step sons, Kenneth (Joanne) Hillblom, Bruce (Rita) Hillblom, Jack Hillblom; step daughter, Lynda (Don) Bauch; great granddaughter, Jessica (Leo) Ayala; and great great grandchildren, Anthony, Analise, Lily, Alex.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Vito Inzerillo; second husband, Russell Stewart; third husband, Evert O. Hillblom; daughter, Rose Ann (Bob) Jakob; son in law, Carl Madison; grandson in law, Jimmy Blair; brother, Frank (Audrey "Ricky") Dicesare; and sister, Lenora (Mike) Podunovich

A funeral service for Ida will take place Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor William Persuhn officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage. Visitation will be held Monday August 1, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
