Obituary
IdaBelle VanWormer age 94 of Lebanon IN, formally of Portage IN, passed away Sunday June 25, 2017. She retires from Portage School Systems and was a founding member of Nativity of our Savior Catholic Church.
She is survived by her 5 children. David (Linda) VanWormer of Anaheim CA, Joan Scherrer of Avon IN, Paul (Carrie) VanWormer of Portage IN, John (Starla) VanWormer of Portage IN, Mary (Russ) Lindner of Lebanon IN, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Thursday June29, 2017 at Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church 2949 Willowcreek Road Portage, Indiana 46368 with Rev. Andrew J. Corona officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Mercy Cemetery in Gary. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, IN. Additional visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 am Thursday at the Church.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Lebanon IN.
