Idzi Mielczarek

IDZI MIELCZAREK, age 87, of Gary, passed away Monday, February 14, 2011 at home. Idzi had been a longtime Northwest Indiana resident and attended the Salvatorian Shrine in Merrillville. He retired from Budd Company in Gary as a press operator.
He is survived by his wife, Helena, sons, Ziggie (Maria) Mielczarek of Lowell and Joe (Monica) Mielczarek of Arizona, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren;
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 with the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10 am DIRECTLY at the Salvatorian Shrine, 5755 Pennsylvania St., Merrillville, with Rev. Jozef Zuziak officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Indiana. Visitation will be held Friday from 3-7 pm with a 4:30 pm rosary at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W.
