Iladean "Dean" Peters (nee Springer), age 78 of Gary passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Portage. She was born on August 17, 1934 in Rogersville, Alabama to the late Frank and Georgia Springer. She was a former member of the Griffith United Methodist Church.
She is survived by 1 son, James R. "Randy" (Rose) Peters, 2 daughters, Pam (Bill) Condron, Kathy (Brian Zoborosky) Wells, 1 brother, Charles (Johanna) Springer, 1 sister, Odra Lee Jerigan, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Peters, 1 daughter, Georgia Miller, 2 brothers, B.W. and James Springer, and 2 sisters, Nita Whitehead and Enid Lisby.
Funeral services are Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart.
