Ilija N. Mizimakoski

Ilija N. Mizimakoski, age 78 of Merrillville passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was born on August 26, 1943 in Struga, Macedonia to the late Nikola and Spasa Mizimakoski. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Macedonian Cathedral. Ilija worked for National Processing Company for 32 years. He was a very loving father and grandfather who cared deeply for his family. He will always be remembered for his dedication to them.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nada Mizimakoska; sons, Jone (Biljana) Mizimakoski, Klime (Elizabeta) Mizimakoski; 5 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and three sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nikola and Spasa Mizimakoski; one brother and one sister.

A funeral mass will take place Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Ss. Peter and Paul Macedonian Cathedral, 9669 Broadway Crown Point, IN 46307. He will be laid to rest at Maplewood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service at the church.
